چکیده

The cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED) system is a promising platform for optics and information experiments. Its core the strong coupling between atoms optical cavity, which causes difficulty in overlap antinode of mode. Here, we use programmable movable dipole trap to load cold atomic ensemble into an fiber microcavity realize strength can be improved by polarization gradient cooling adiabatic loading. By measurement vacuum Rabi splitting, as high gN=2π×400 MHz, means effective atom number Neff=16 collective cooperativity CN=1466. These results show that this experimental used molecule based QED research.

Experimental realization of three-color entanglement at optical fiber communication and atomic storage wavelengths.

Entangled states of light including low-loss optical fiber transmission and atomic resonance frequencies are essential resources for future quantum information networks. We present the experimental achievement on the three-color entanglement generation at 852, 1550, and 1440 nm wavelengths for optical continuous variables. The entanglement generation system consists of two cascaded nondegenerat...

Strong Coupling of Light and Matter in a Microcavity LED

We have demonstrated the first microcavity light emitting device (LED) in which light emission is produced from strongly coupled states of light and matter by electrical excitation [1]. Applications of strong coupling in atomic and semiconductor systems have led to one-atom zero threshold lasers, high gain polariton parametric amplifiers, and predictions that strong coupling may play a key role...

Experimental Verification of the Very Strong Coupling Regime in a GaAs Quantum Well Microcavity.

The dipole coupling strength g between cavity photons and quantum well excitons determines the regime of light matter coupling in quantum well microcavities. In the strong coupling regime, a reversible energy transfer between exciton and cavity photon takes place, which leads to the formation of hybrid polaritonic resonances. If the coupling is further increased, a hybridization of different si...

Hyper Raman Scattering in Microcavity Quantum Wells: A Quantum Optical Process in the Strong Coupling Regime

We analyze the hyper Raman scattering process in a quantum well grown inside a semiconductor microcavity and present a microscopic calculation of emission spectra as a function of excitation energy, detuning, and angles. The exciton±photon coupling is treated non-perturbatively to include polariton effects and the Coulomb interaction between electrons is treated beyond the mean field approximat...
